About the Author

In retirement, Robert Westheimer felt a strong call to write, with the single purpose of honoring Jesus Christ. With that purpose in mind, he has authored two books, “When God Calls, How Do You Answer” (2015) and “Dangling” (2017).

Robert is a fourth generation Houstonian who spent his working career at Arthur Andersen & Co. Following retirement, he founded a Christ-centered not-for-profit, Newspring, which is focused on a disadvantaged population in the Spring Branch area of Houston. www.newspringcenter.org

Robert shares retirement with his wife and life partner, LaNoe. They have two children, David Westheimer and Lisa Drever, as well as three granddaughters. LaNoe and Robert are members of the Mercy Street worship community at Chapelwood UMC.
